Victoria Monet Aguas was born in Austin, Texas and grew up in Georgetown, a suburb north of Austin. At sixteen she became a follower of Christ. She attended Texas Tech University, earning a bachelor's degree in journalism in 2016. Victoria then attended Dallas Theological Seminary, completing dual master's degrees in Christian Education and Media Arts & Worship in 2021. In addition to teaching and shepherding ministry, Victoria is also a writer and editor. She and her husband Josh have two sons, Ezekiel and Malachi.

Victoria serves part-time as assistant minister for college and young-adult ministry, responsible for Sunday school, small-group activities, leadership training, and pastoral care.
