Pastor Patrick Chang is a Brazilian-born Chinese. In high school he began searching for the meaning of life and ultimately came to know the Lord at a youth camp. While studying at the University of Texas at Austin, after several mission trips he saw how many Chinese people did not know Jesus and dedicated himself to ministry. He received his Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary. Before coming to DCFC he served as Student Ministries Director at Chase Oaks Church. He and his wife Shelley have three children.

As English ministry pastor, Pastor Chang is responsible for preaching, teaching, strategic ministry planning, discipleship, and pastoral care, focusing on the growth and shepherding of the English congregation.
