Pastor Josh Aguas
College Pastor
Pastor Josh Aguas was raised around Christianity from a young age, but he felt God's grace did not become real to him until his sophomore year of college. At Texas Tech University he experienced an authentic and distinctive Christian community — one that embodied Scripture, was radically open to outsiders, and practiced serious discipleship. Before graduating he received a call to missions, left his planned career path, and pursued a life of full-time ministry. After a one-year internship with the Wesley Foundation's college mission at Texas Tech, he was admitted to Dallas Theological Seminary, began his studies in the fall of 2014, and graduated in the fall of 2018.
His passion is to develop and inspire college students and young adults to become leaders in their spheres of life. He enjoys cycling, building bikes, rock climbing, ping-pong, and audiobooks. He and his beautiful wife Victoria have two sons, Ezekiel and Malachi.
Pastor Josh also serves as acting youth pastor, shepherding students through Sunday school and Friday PAC gatherings, guiding their spiritual growth through Bible teaching and discipleship, building fellowship life, developing volunteer leaders, and leading short-term missions and youth activities.
